Master & Man fought back to win by half a length over 2400m at the Vaal on 10 October 2019. Jockey Warren Kennedy had him well placed throughout and they hit the front early. Master & Man started to loaf in front and was headed but he fought back to get there where it matters most. Congratulations to owners Bruce & Jo Gardner & Gary Alexander. Chouette was rewarded for her consistency with a game win over 1200m at Turffontein on Saturday 28 September 2019. Gaian Glory showed her class when she finished well to beat a competitive field on Tuesday 24 September 2019 at Turffontein in a Graduation Plate over 1200m. Once again, a good ride by leading apprentice Denis Schwarz, he had Gaian Glory about five lengths off the pace and when he asked her for an effort, she quickened well to win a good contest. Mount Laurel won her second race in as many starts, at Turffontein on Saturday, 21 September 2019, over 1200m. Well ridden by apprentice Denis Schwarz, from a slow start, he let her bide her time at the back of the field and when he asked her the question, she quickened smartly to win well. Initiator produced a powerful finish, under a good ride by apprentice Denis Schwarz, to get up in the las few strides and win her maiden over 1200m at Turffontein on Saturday 31 August 2019. The six furlongs is a bit on the short side for Initiator and she will be better suited to more ground. Animal Lover(Aus.) returned to racing after a short break and it seemed to do the trick. She ran on strongly to win a competitive 1600m FM handicap at Turffontein on 24 August 2019. She broke smartly and Denis Schwarz had her well placed throughout the race. When he asked her for an effort she quickened well to win by a length at the line. Ration My Passion(NZ) unexpectedly won over 1500m at the Vaal on 22 August 2019, a trip much too short for her. She has strengthened up and should continue to improve and could go on from here. He led soon after the start and went from pillar to post to win easily by two- & three-quarter lengths at the line. Duke of Swing is progressive, and he should have more wins in him.
