It’s always a slight concern taking young horses to the Vaal Racecourse for the first time to race. You can never really be certain how they are going to handle the trip and how it will affect their performance. It was no problem for Kimberley Green she took it all in her stride and produced a powerful finish to win a competitive maiden 1450m on Thursday 27 December 2018. Denis Schwarz got her in the box seat from the start and was just biding his time behind the front runners. She responded instantly when he asked her for an effort and she ran on well to win a good contest. Congratulations to owners Anthony Joannides, Greg Sadie, Kirk Michael, Mark Wright & Gary Alexander. Kimberley Green was bred by Maine Chance Farms!
