Animal Lover(Aus.) returned to racing after a short break and it seemed to do the trick. She ran on strongly to win a competitive 1600m FM handicap at Turffontein on 24 August 2019. She broke smartly and Denis Schwarz had her well placed throughout the race. When he asked her for an effort she quickened well to win by a length at the line. Congratulations to owners Messrs D Side, R Scott & M Currie. Animal Lover(Aus.) was bred by Mr O Wong

Apprentice Denis Schwarz rode a copy book race and got Animal Lover(AUS) to find more where it mattered most to crack her maiden, over 2000m at the Vaal Racecourse, on 26 April 2018. This was Animal Lover’s(AUS) first attempt over this distance and she won a good race, in spite of racing green. She should keep improving and it may pay to follow her.
