Banana Republic always showed a distinct liking for the Turffontein inside Course. It came as no surprise when she easily accounted for a moderate maiden field at Turffontein over 1200m on 17 November 2018. Well handled by apprentice Denis Schwarz, he had her well placed throughout and made his run at the right time to win going away. Congratulations to owners, G Alexander & Suzan Louw.
