Champion apprentice Luke Ferraris gave Bartholdi a top ride to get him home over 1100m at Turffontein on 28 November 2020. In only his second start Bartholdi raced green, but Luke gave him every bit of assistance from the saddle to get him up in time under a hard-fought win. This son of Act of War has scope, and it should pay to follow him this season. Nimcha is now a six time winner after his fluent victory at the Vaal on the 26 November 2020 over 1800m. Once again under a top ride by champion apprentice Luke Ferraris, he had Nimcha well placed soon after the start and when he asked him to run the final 400m, he responded well to win easily. Seven-year-old Zeal & Zest won his seventh race in good fashion over 2000m at Turffontein on Saturday 21 October 2020. Under a top ride by jockey Sherman Brown, he had Zeal and Zest in the box seat from the start he then presented him at the perfect time to take the lead and hold it comfortably to the line. Call Me Master broke his maiden in good style in only his second start at Turffontein on Saturday 07 November 2020 over1600m.. Nimcha bounced back to his best his best form when he held on to share in a competitive MR88 1800m handicap on Thursday 05 November 2020. Nimcha was given a top ride by Champion apprentice Luke Ferraris, he had him well placed soon after the start, he responded well when Luke asked him to run up the straight and held on courageously to dead heat at the line. A feature race double is never easy to achieve! But Saragon (Yellowwood- Gr3) & Odd Rob (Java H’cp-Listed) made the 31 October 2020 a day to remember for owners Simon & Michelle Jeffery & Ashleigh Venter. Odd Rob was given a top ride by leading jockey Chase Maujean, he had him in the perfect spot and hit the front at the right time to win the Java Handicap (L) on the 9 year old campaigner.
