Cold Cash showed what she is capable of at Turffontein over 1800m on 11 December 2018, and proved that her last run was all wrong. Well ridden by apprentice Denis Schwarz, he had her just off the leaders turning for home and she produced a sustained run to the line to beat the favourite going away. This was Cold Cash’s fourth win and there is more to come from her this season. Congratulations to owners Messrs L & J Wernars, A Joannides, A Giuricich and Miss J Alexander. Cold Cash is on the up and won a good contest from post to post over 1800m, under an enterprising ride from jockey Marco Van Rensburg, on Saturday 29 April 2017, in so doing gave the stable a quick double.
