Another top ride by apprentice Luke Ferraris to get Fierce Fighter to win his maiden over 2600m at Turffontein racecourse on 15 February 2020. He placed Fierce Fighter in a winning position from a wide draw and got him going early in the straight and kept him going for a comfortable victory.
