Denis Schwarz who will be qualifying as a jockey next month, rode a smart race on The Bosbok at Turffontein on 14 December 2019. From a deep draw he got to the front and dictated matters, when asked, The Bosbok quickened well and stayed on strongly to win the 2850m trip in fluent fashion. This was The Bosbok’ s third win from 15 starts and he is developing into a nice stayer. The Bosbok was bred by Summerhill Stud.

Carrying top weight, The Bosbok fought off a late challenge to win over 2000m at Turffontein on 10 August 2019. He conceded 10kg to the runner up and was all guts under a top ride by apprentice Denis Schwarz. The 2000m is a bit on the sharp side for The Bosbok and he will win more races over extra ground this season. Congratulations to owners Gary & Dean Alexander. The Bosbok was bred by Summerhill Stud!

Apprentice Denis Schwarz rode a well judged race on The Bosbok. He took him to the lead from the start and timed it beautifully to keep him going to win a good race over 2450m at Turffontein on 17 December 2018. The manner in which The Bosbok won suggests he should have more wins in him this season. The Bosbok was bred by Summerhill stud.
